Does anybody know where I can get these printed? My local print shops are scared shitless of being suied by Disney over this.
lol? Was no problem at all to get it printed in Vienna/Austria.
Just try a different shop.
Edited by thePREdiger@thePREdiger I have tried three different ones. Here in the US people are scared of people that have more money than them. I wish I could start my own copy shop. My policy is 10 or less no problem any more than that won't do it. I'm going to try to find a printer that I can use at home to do it. I don't think I will find one at a reasonable cost but I am going to try.
Yeah I learned that I need to ask three questions at a print shop.
1. Do you play board games?
2. Have you played the latest games?
3. Are you a board game hoarder?
If they answer yes to these questions then I will be able to get them printed. If not I will need to ask if there is anybody else that can help me.
I know it's been a long time since you heard from me and I've got quite a lot worried inquiries about the lack of updates.

Aargh! I've screwed it up. Nooo!

Apart from that, I'd recommend 200g (110lb index) paper, this way you get quite sturdy boxes. Of course you could increase this to even 300g, but I'd start with 200g if I were you.

Actually a big chance for all of the cards.
I intend to offer CollectorBoxes in different sizes for each sleeve color (grey, yellow, green, perhaps orange), first in plain white and if I have some time with matching artwork and in addition dividers for all cards in the game. This way everybody can choose whether he likes the CollectorBox better or the standard tuckbox. Or a mix of both.
Very cool! Can't wait to see the results. I still have to put together the collector box for the x-wing upgrade cards. Just haven't had time. I hope it changes soon so I can get these made.

Perhaps wait a little while longer, I'm going to switch to foamboard for the new CollectorBoxes, the cardstock simply gave in when packed with a bunch of big cards, tried it out, no way to make this sturdy with reasonable effort. Therefore I think I'm going to adapt the whole system to foamboard boxes,covered with printed cardstock. From the outside they will look the same, but sooo much sturdier! And of course you will get printable templates to glue onto the foamboard so you don't have to measure everything for yourself. That's the part about foamboard that can be annoying for beginners, cutting rectangles of the correct size with only a ruler.
