Wookie and Hired Guns elite deployment cards?

By finalfantasyflightVII, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

HI all,

Just wondering before I pre-order, will the Wookie and Hired Guns packs have elite versions of the characters too? I tried finding out from the preview pictures, but wasn't sure.

I'm assuming Stormtroopers are a given.

Thanks.

The only other non-unique ally/villain packs we've had are the Rebel Troopers and Rebel Saboteurs. Both of them have come with a Regular and an Elite version. So if that is any indication, then I think it's a safe bet to expect Regulars and Elites in the Wookiees and Hired Guns...but you'll still only get the base amount of figures. In other words, we got 2 Rebel Saboteur minis (not 4) in the Saboteur pack.

Thanks, that's what I expected. Wanted to put in my pre-order for two packs of each, but wanted some reassurance. Much obliged.

Yeah, my pattern so far is to get 2 each of all of the non-unique packs, and 1 (obviously) of the uniques.

I expect that, as we get more and more figures, we'll see less squads that use 4 of a given mini, and a lot more squads that use 2s and maybe 3s at most...all of this simply because we have more options to choose from and more synergies that work well together.

What squad has 4 minis in it my IA set didn't have any.

I believe he means Skirmish squads such as four groups of Royal Guards and four 'groups' of Officers.
