So, first Friday passed. Anyone win anything?
How do we know if we've won?
Is FFG holding off until next month?

It was postponed due to Thanksgiving.
That's right. We'll be doing the raffle today and contacting the winners! We'll post the winners tomorrow!

I think that NO-ONE could gain raffle for this month. Because system has followed disadvantages:
1.) possibility of loophole
(
who reads my posts and follow cause Marian Dzurilla then know what am I talk about
) should score self extra points. If, then must be everyone recalculated or reseted....
2.) different "metre" on users
- way how could be points earned (some earn +5 point for create topics, +5 points for adding friends, Now its only +1 point so who exploit from +5 system then got advantage)
3.) unpossible verification if players "checked box" by own games
really that game own's (no verify SN, removes duplicity if any of players enter same No.)
For this reasons It's thought to be canceled otherwise winer cannot be correctly declared.
Marian Dzurilla makes some fair comments there 433 .
Its difficult to see how a raffle draw can be made on a just and fair basis given the assumed tampering with the points system.

That logic does not sound 'just and fair' to me!
'Artificialy' is a realitive term here. I would suggest that the FFG staff do the following, which I have done, and see what type of picture is painted.
You will see such things as a single user posting in nearly EVERY forum such topics as "Average Length of Game?" in say 10-15 Forums. The average length of the given games can be easily found on the page about said game. YOu find a simmilar pattern with many of our 'honest' top pointers. Repeated thread topics of a generic type posted in almost all forums about games which magically prior to the forum switch and introduction of the point system they had no appearnt intrest.
Personally I would look through the actually posting history of the top posters, and if such blantent spamming was evident, I would reset them to 000 points for their trouble. Hell if you;re going to spam to try to inflate your bloody points at least try to pretend you're geniuely intersted in the game(s) you're professing to be. Also actually pretend you've seen the **** page regarding said game and don't ask inane questions like 'Reviews?' , 'Is this game Good', 'Does this game come in a bag or a Box'. It really annoys me when these blatent spammers are so transparent and eithier don't care or think that the rest of us are just that thick.
I agree with both Ludite & Marian Dzurilla, and while I really don't care who gets prizes, I don't think the that those who have manipulated the system against what I think the intent of FFG was should be rewarded for behavour which does anything but 'build community'.
If you have a problem with people spamming, it would make more sense to Report them - rather than arbitrarily punishing everyone.
That's the point though isn't it, its not arbitrary. I think FFG should take the bloody 10 minutes or so (well with the slowness of the forum these days that might take a tad bit longer eh?) and just 'punish' the OBVIOUS spammers. But don't 'reward' them by giving them something for being propper prats eh? Doesn't seem to unfair in my book. But again everyone's entittled to their POV yeah?
Don't worry, we're watching point scofflaws.
And remember, all you have to do to be eligible for ANY prize is to have 25 points. Nobody (not even me) is over 500 points yet, it will be a while until the large prizes start.

Well thats not saying much, cause there are some people who gain more free time during certain times of the year than others. With the old Heart Forums for Kingdom Heart, I logged in mabye 2 hours a day and now I'm logged in four because my hmwk load is down. I guess I'm trying to say it depends on the situation.
I don't think it's worth anyone getting in a tizzy over. FFG isn't staffed by idiots, and they'll run their house how they like. They're giving us a free forum and potential prizes besides. It's not like I'm out anything if I don't win something, and I come out ahead if I count the benefit of good posters ideas and being able to pick their brains. It is unfortunate that the parasites are about as well, but I generally don't have a problem ignoring/avoiding them.
Now, as far as the raffle goes, I'm very curious to see just what these different levels actually mean.
So who won? Its been 2 days and I havent see hide nor hair of a winners topic?
Me either, I'm interested to see what these raffles will hold for the winner so I can hopefully plan out what I need to get since my CCG is becoming harder and harder to find and my mom doesn't like it when I order items online.
And if it is +1 for posts, I have been stuck for the longest time then. I don't spam the forums but find it odd that all these people have quite a lot of points. But also I don't spam the boards either. So if there is a +1 for posting, then something is definitely amiss.
And since these so called how to get points are still vague, there have been (and FFG should be aware of it by now) that there were some people who took advantage of it.
And Marian Dzurilla has made some good points as well. Thus hopefully there has been some corrections done. And thus it would seem that if FFG held off on the raffle to make sure all the points are correct.
Cab
You don't get +1 for posts. At least, not as far as I know. I sure haven't gotten a point for every post.
I think I pretty much know all the ways to get points, but I could be wrong.
ones more ...
if you look on ColtsFan76 reply which write in topic "New Site: Use for Points?" (he confirms my facts) then you can see point system used on 24 nov. And I agree that was true...
+ 10 pts. for registering
+ 5 points the first time you respond in a new forum
+ 5 points for the first new topic you create in a new forum
+ 5 and so on....
And minimum for next 3 days was same. So if someone exploited advantages from this "+5 +5 Topic system" then he could earn lead. Now are users underprivileged because "first time respond" gives him no points for example... For this reason are all points irrelevant.
Yes, FFG made some corrections whereby run deep leading. I think that is only testing running and raffle comes after new year. There is plenty of work stabilize this new pages, transfering old informations (underlined AoD in shop n' bold style in product page), fixing too long loading page ...
So... what did I win and when will it arrive?

The thing is, FFG already stated they were going to do a November raffle but were backed up with the new site and the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. They are going to run into the same with the last Friday of December occuring the day after Christmas. Maybe they will postpone it until the new year though.
Smells like false advertising to me. /:

This point system is really confusing...

They definately Drew the November raffle, They just don't seem to have notified anyone who won.
How do we know though? You seem awfully confident that they did, but we haven't seen anything that even suggests that they did.

Your use of the word 'We' in that sentence is incorrect. Some of us have seen things to suggest the draw happened.

Suggesting the draw happen and it definitely happened are two different things.
The last thing I saw was a post over the weekend that the draw would happen on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Has rthere been something that suggested that actually took place? If so, could you link to it please?
Or perhaps you were one of the winners and recieved something in the mail?
