Juno Timing question

By Moe718, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Ok, with Juno's ability about changing speeds during activation. What is the timing order? Player A reveals a 2 left bank, but uses Juno's ability to increase it to a 3 bank. But also uses the EPT Stay on Target to switch it to a 3 bank right. SOT states that the move is now a red move. But if Juno has the MK II mod equipped all banks are green. Does Player A receive a stress token or not?

Thanks

When the events have the same timing the active player can decide in which order they are resolved. You can first change the speed and then the direction or the other way around.

Even if Juno has MK2 it will stay red. I think it's answered in the FAQs.

Was checking the FAQ for it must have missed it. Ill check again thanks for the info

I distinctly remember something that says if a card effect changes a maneuver to red it stays red but I got no clue where in the FAQ it is. (LOL) Worth pointing it out to those perusing through, Juno Eclipse's ability doesn't change the color of the maneuver she's doing. She's the newest hyper-mobility ship in the game! Capable of three speeds of K-turn (only the second pilot capable of such a feat) and also able to perform the one tight turn naturally on a ship that normally can't with out a certain EPT, and she considers it a white move too! Stay on Target is also a fantastic choice for her since she can change the speed natively as her own navigator. And thus we will have questions like this for awhile to come. :)

FAQ:

Stay on Target Even if the chosen maneuver is changed by an ability such as Navigator, the maneuver that the ship executes is always a red maneuver.

Allso FAQ P 16:

Q: If two or more game effects that change the difficulty of a maneuver conflict, which effect takes priority?
A: An effect that increases the difficulty of a maneuver takes priority over an effect that decreases the difficulty. For example, if a ship equipped with R2 Astromech is dealt the Damaged Engine Damage card, all of the ship’s turn maneuvers are treated as red maneuvers, including the 1-speed and 2-speed turn maneuvers.
