Hi all, we're hoping to make this our biggest league yet. We had 22 people participate in the Spring league (12-16 people playing each Thursday night), and we are gaining more space as some other games have moved nights to make room for X-Wing! When: Every Thursday starting 9/17 going through 11/19, 6:00pm-9:00pm

Entry: $10 for the 10 week league

Scoring: We will be using a modified ELO-like ratings system. Weekly results and details about the system are available at http://gcleague.xwingdice.com. Using a ratings system allows for players to play as many games as they wish each week and have them count for the league.

Reporting: There is a form available for players to fill out after each game. There is a drop box for the form at Geek City. There are no draws: initiative will be used to break ties (for any game ending in a draw, determine the winner as if the game were single elimination per the tournament rules). It is the responsibility of the winner to correctly report the match result. Incomplete or late result slips may not be counted!

Prizes: Exact prize distribution is based on total number of players and announced several weeks into the league. There will be merit prizes given out for (at least): first highest rating, second highest rating, most improved, and most variety of players played. The bulk of the prizes will be given away in a drawing with number of entries based on participation. Each game a player plays will give them one entry into the drawing for prizes (max 20 entries). Players must participate in at least 7 weeks of the league to be eligible for the drawing. Every player will receive an alternate art participation card. Finally, every Thursday there will be an X-Wing giveaway sometime during the evening.
