Basically a way of tossing an EPT on a shuttle but not sure what it would need to cost in order to be fair. Other options:

Bounty Hunter and Krassis might be stronger options but not OP.

Patrol Leader could be an issue maybe?

Rebels would probably be OK. ORS and WSF aren't exactly terrorizing the meta. Eaden probably would be OK.

Scum is the potential problem. Some of the YV pilots. (Moralo Eval, I'm looking at you.)

Sure, I'd love to play a Shuttle with EU and Expert Handling. Or Daredevil. You could combine Intimidation and full stop maneuvers, or Adrenaline Rush to stop 2 turns in a row.

The developers likely wanted to prevent these types of combinations when they designed the shuttle, but I'm not sure they'd be so unbalancing. Bossk can do any of the above, and he's got a 180-degree firing arc. He does cost quite a bit more, though.

Well it could be done, but think of the consequences and the time it would take.

Imagine a C-5 barrel rolling. Even a C-130 would need lots of altitude and everyone on board would need to plan on replacing their lost lunches. In space it's different, yeah, but some of the difficulties still apply

I think it should have a PS limit, PS 4 or greater. That way it buffs the named Shuttle pilots (they need it) and Krassis but you can't throw is on a BH, OGP, or ORS. It could also just be Imperial only.

Veteran Officer maybe? Could be applied to Rebels and Imps and flavored not to work with scum. Maybe limit it to non-unique pilots

Easiest would be to just make it a title, to keep it shuttle only, and limited.

I see no problem with the Shuttle getting EPTs though. I see their omission as being due to overly conservative design when the game was still new, similar to the way the Y-Wings have no EPTs (and later had them patched in using an astromech). If anything, gaining the EPT by a copilot strikes me as even more appropriate.

I'd be all for it.

I've always wanted my shuttles to have an EPT. BH would enjoy Predator as well. About the only thing it is missing is easy access to Reroll + Focus for reliable offense. Defense wise it isn't bad. But then again, I'd really miss Tactician on my generic BHers.

While I was half joking about the barrel roll thing, this could help out some ships that don't see a lot of play.

I would add, "small ships may not equip" so that you don't get a bunch of BBB lists with Predator or PTL or something.

You know, putting this thing on an Imperial Boba or Imperial Kath might well be the fix that they need relative to the Scum versions. I'd strike the whole (to a maximum of 1) bit.

I assume the quoted text was to prevent it from being stacked with natural Elite Talents, but I'm not sure that's really a problem for the Empire's Large ships, hence my suggestion to strike that bit entirely.

He's got the wording a little off anyway. I'd swap to:

Imp only, Large only.

I'm not sure it would need to be Large only. Allowing Blue Squadron to buy an EPT at a cost of 2-3 points over the cost of the EPT itself seems unlikely to be abusable. I'm a bit less confident about Phantoms, but I'm having trouble coming up with combos that I think would actually break anything. And it would actually be nice to have available to the HWK.

True, if you drop the large ship, base phantom could have lots of fun for sure. Crackshot, Determination, VI. All make the phantom much better.

On that note. I like it better with the Large ship removed. You could even use it with scum too

This does seem a cool card to have, but I wouldn't limit it to big ships only, though. If you fear a b-wing swarm with it, not only would the pay the price of that ept, they would also pay 1 point for the b wing/e2 and 2 points for the crew, so, if someone used this combination, for example:

blue squadron pilot 22

b-wing /e2 1

Veteran co 2

1-4 ept

Total: 26-29

So there can only be a total of three b wings of this combination, so you won't have to worry about that...yet...
