Gravity Mines

I want these:

I realize this game doesn't actually do hyperspace jumping, but I'm sure they could think up something for an Interdictor-themed mine to do.

The fact that they're adding a tractor beam in the next wave is a good sign that they're willing to introduce things that mess with your opponent's movement options. That makes me think a "gravity mine" could be a viable future upgrade.

i already brought up gravity mines in the possible defender / bomber aces thread:

Gravity Mine: 4 Points

Action: Discard this card to drop 1 gravity mine token. When a ship executes a maneuver, if its base or maneuver template overlaps this token, this token detonates. When the bomb token detonates, the ship that moved through or overlapped this token rolls 2 attack dice and suffers all hits and crits rolled, can only attack at range 1 this turn and only move at speed 1 next turn. Then discard this token.

I like the concept.

"Action: Discard this card to drop 1 gravity mine token.

When a ship executes a maneuver, if its base or maneuver template overlap this token, this token detonates.

"When this bomb token detonates, the ship that moved through or overlapped this token rolls 2 attack die and receives 1 stress token for each <damage> or <critical> result rolled. Then, they must decrease the speed of their maneuver by 1 (to a minimum of 1)."

This could work. I don't know what a Tractor Token does yet, but a mine that puts Tractor Tokens on enemy ships could be interesting.
