AT-ST Storage

By MikeNYHC, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Does anyone know a good way to store the AT-ST. I have a good solution for my other figures, but currently my AT-ST is just rattling around in the large top compartment of my tackle box. It's painted and the parts are super glued since it annoyingly falls apart otherwise.

Are there places where I can get small chunks of foam? Any other creative ideas?

you could always try using foam for padding around the AT-ST to keep the paint from chipping and rattling around too much

I never glued on the legs to my AT-STs so that I could paint them easier, but also so I can store them a bit easier. I had to drill out the leg holes a little bit to make them slightly bigger to account for primer that got in there, but they stay together just fine during gameplay since the force that each leg is putting on the chassis keeps the model cohesive because of how the legs fit onto the base.

If you play the X-wing mini game, use one of the larger plastic "box" things. The ships come in a moulded plastic tray with a 2nd plastic wraparound to keep it in place. The 2nd wraparound from the Star Viper is the perfect size for the AT-ST and if you don't care too much, the large base ship's, like the YTs and Slave-1, wraparound will hold 2(assuming 1 is the General's special AT-ST).
