The average of the last 6 standard waves is 158 days between announcement, on the FFG website, of the initial wave and the announcement of the wave's arrival in store (also on the website).

This means we can project (these are merely projections, but based on data from earlier FFG X-Wing releases):

Wave 7 will be in stores at or around September 25, 2015.

Wave 8 will be in stores at or around January 5, 2016.

The Epic ships take longer (255 days on average). This means we can expect the Assault Carrier on or around April 11, 2016.

The secretive Episode 7 wave is unknown. I suspect it will be timed for arrival at stores around September 4, 2015 (Star Wars Toy Day). Not announced on Sept 4: announced and released on Sept 4. We'll see. Never been done before, but should be technically possible to launch a secret product within a week or so of website announcement. I'd guess. Exciting!

Lastly, I wish to make my predictions (again) for the SKUs (and one extra product that HAS to be coming along):

SWX36: Resistance Expansion Pack $29.95 (one new T-70 X-Wing alternate paint (black with orange stripe) plus 1 Special Forces TIE Fighter alternate paint (black with red stripe a la Hasbro's beautiful toy) This pack is like "Most Wanted" or "Aces"; new ships/pilots (Poe Dameron) crew and new pilots for Falcon (BB-8, Rey,

SWX37: T-70 X-Wing Expansion Pack $14.95 ("standard" paint job; more new pilots and upgrades, etc)

SWX38: Special Forces TIE Fighter ("standard" gray/white paint job; tougher ship than basic TIE, front/rear fixed arcs, a la Firespray-31, one crew slot)

~SWX43: Rebel Aces 2 $29.95 (2 Y-wings, painted like Gray Squadron). Bring the bomber card to Rebels (upgrade card from Most Wanted), as well as the additional crew member "S3" title. More pilots, etc. Revitalize the Y-wing.

I predict the ships will be for the standard "Rebel" and "Imperial" factions, and the "Mosted Wanted" type pack will not include "The Force Awakens" in the title or logos, etc.

I would say between the Title and constant stream if new turrets and ordnance the Y Wing has received all the special love it's going to, especially if we also start seeing new Astromechs with the Episode 7 stuff.

It's annoying that you have to buy an expensive starter pack for another faction, but considering that hasn't slowed down Raider or Corvette sales (critical upgrades in a large expensive and potentially exterraneous package) I don't see FFG changing their minds.

What if there is a new scum ship in the movie? Maybe something from Lupita N'yongo's pirate crew? Then maybe there would be an expansion for each faction, and it would keep ship distribution even(ish) among them.

I don't think they'll do an expansion for the new X-Wing and TIE fighters AND include them both in an aces straight up.

I will predict though that the EpVII X-Wing is the means for X-Wing fixes though. I'd expect to see a boost for my favorite ship in that expansion.

Also, the fella at 0.21 in this video looks promising.

I am hoping for an upgrade to X-wings in the secretive Episode VII release. That would hopefully make the X-Wing (the titular ship to this wonderful game) more effective, efficient, and/or usable!

Well I am speaking of New Zealand, and i know for a fact the book depository in the uk has stock so im guessing you will get yours before i get mine though to be honest im more interested in wave 7 release and if it will be legit for our nationals event

Well, if the book depository would actually ship to my country, it might. But they don't so it won't.

FFG, I want to play X-WING. I want to field X-WINGS in every list. I want people at my store to refer to me as "The X-WING guy". This is already going to be an amazing Christmas. Now all I ask is that you sprinkle some X-WINGS on top.

Yeah, I highly doubt we get a Rebel Aces that includes two Y-wings. They are pretty **** revitalized as is (Twin Laser Turret man!). However, the Y-wing is lacking in pilots compared to the other 3 mainstays (A, B, and X). If they did do a Rebel aces with the Y-wing it would at least include the E-wing as well. Outside of Corran you rarely see them.

My guess is we will see a Scum Aces pack next with some Syck love and maybe something to give the Firespray more punch? I'd like to see a modification or title that lets you shoot secondaries out the rear.

There's three missing numbers for X-wing products between Wave 7 and the Gozanti. Which means three products that have not been announced yet.

And we know there to be Force Awakens products "on the water" as per ffg CEO Christian
