Hello everyone! With the Imperial rider i finally got the new cards so I decided to give a new chance to the Tie adv. with Lord Vader so this is what I thought:
Darth Vader: predator, engine upgrade, tie/x1 title and advanced targeting computer
Soontir Fel: PTL, royal guard tie title, autothrusters and targeting computer.
Tie Phantom sigma squadron: stygian particles device and intelligence agent.
What do you guys think about?
I don't think its totally optimal. But its a great list. And Sigmas area joy and a challenge to fly.
That's very similar to a list I've been using:
Vader w/ Predator, x-1 title, ATC, engine and proton rockets = 40
Fel w/ PtL, royal guard title, autothrusters and target comp = 34
Tempest w/ x1 title, accuracy corrector and TIE mk2 engines = 22

Not optimal, but a lot of fun to fly. I really love the proton rockets. At 96, I'm always choosing who gets initiative, so its very easy for Vader to stuff those rockets in any ship's arse (and predator means I don't usually need the TL to fire them, although I usually have it by the time they get launched, but don't always need it).
Don't make a mistake with your dials though. One bad choice and game over! Its very punishing if you don't fly flawlessly (for that reason, I don't plan on taking it to tournaments).

id change tempest to Colzet, get out of that 1-2 predator double reroll range, and if you get a crit? REDO THAT CRIT until soggy and broken ship.

Launcher class lambda omicron pilot: emperor palpatine

Another options are changing the elite pilot talent to vader: expose or lone wolf

Another options are changing the elite pilot talent to vader: expose or lone wolf
Either list could work. Expose is a bad idea unless you are really good at keeping Vader out of firing arcs, but even then, its no better than Predator (but costs 1 pt more and uses up an action). Lone Wolf is a good idea, especially if you run it along with Fel and the shuttle since its much more likely you can keep Vader outside range 2 of his buddies.
What is a launcher shuttle?
