To those that will be getting the new Gozanti Cruiser what will you be doing with your new Tie fighters? Will you keep them as is, repaint them or trade them away? What is the Empire's stance on different color of paint within an attack squadron? Given that the Empire is mass producing TIE/LN star fighters, I would speculate that slight variation of paint would be common to include blue, gray, black and even white. Also, if anybody has a paint match/method to replicate the stock tie fighter solar panels I would appreciate it, I need to strip a few repaints that turned out badly

I'll have 7. And Probably just give them some squadron colors like I have on mine. No big eal some oare grey and some are blue

Post Gozanti, Ill have 10 Ties...I think Ill have to buy two more and come up with either a single paint scheme or three different ones and have four Ties of each!

Well right now I only get doubles (and not more) of the packs as I don't have as much disposable income like I used to. So with 2 core sets and 2 TIE Fighter packs I am at 6 TIE Fighters. Withe the Gozanti I will be at 8.

However I will note that the new color isn't much distinguishable in comparison to the old color. I was looking at the TIE advanced from the Raider and comparing it from the TIE advanced expansion pack. Other than the pallet shade there is no difference. It barely stands out, but I made a different thread to talk about that.

Bear in mind though I wouldn't be buying it on release I'd wait for prices to drop or for a sale as it'd be more for completion than a dire need for the new pilots or crew.

It's beyond my skills, but I hope someone comes up with a stencil pattern for Sabine's TIE Fighter. It would be awesome to have 1 or 2 with that paint scheme.

The $48 might be for a used rebel Transport that someone doesn't want to play anymore and is trying to sell it to get into a different hobby.

Well, I have 8 TIE Fighters at the moment, so...I'll probably buy a pair of Gozantis, and in the display case just mount the grey ones I've got into their base. Then have my three grey TIE Advanced flying formation around them.

Since every other TIE in the game is basically blue, the four blue TIE Fighters I'd have from the Gozanti will just go in with all the others, then.

Which will be nice to have options when I'm list building - if I need to fly some regular TIEs alongside a couple TIE Advanced...I go with the grey ones. Some regular TIEs alongside TIE Interceptors? Go with the blue ones.

So that'll be kinda nice, actually. Never have to mix blue and grey on the gaming table.

I got my tantive for £45 and my transport for £30 because instead of buying release I waited a few months.

The raider I traded some old skaven stuff so that's effectively free and the goz can wait until it's gone down to 30 odd pounds.

Much like with video games a small wait can net you big savings.

I'll be waiting a while to get my Gozanti .. and really don't care what colour my TIEs are. I have enough already so will be happy to trade off the Gozanti TIEs when I get them.

Indeed, DVD's are the same. Wait 6 months and you pick up that movie you wanted for less than $10.

Interestingly enough. CD's don't seem to drop in price. Try and find a Led Zeppelin, AC-DC or any other popular band from yesteryear's CD for less than $20. No can do sirs.

Well the transport has dropped down to ~$60 and FFG has the assault Carrier listed for ~$70.

I can't decide if I want slightly different paint or all my imperials to be lockstep in everything, including paint jobs.
