It seems like FFG has decided releasing the Corvette by itself was a mistake, so odds are we're going to see some fighters with the scum ships. Perhaps the Scyk with a Hutt cartel ship and a Starviper with a Black Sun ship?

I very much doubt that.

The X-wing came with the Transport partly to push it (the first huge ship and one with no guns) and partly to give the X-wing some new stuff.

The CR90 came with no small ship.

The Raider came with an Advanced because the Advanced desperately needed a fix release and soon.

Two TIEs come with the Gozanti because it's a TIE carrier for four TIEs: anyone with the Core Set and a Gozanti can run it at full complement.

I would only want the Star Jewel if they make the weapons visible. It'll be too weird if the huge ship is unleashing waves of turbolaser fire from invisible weapons.

Out of curiosity does anybody have a picture of the Star Jewel I have no idea what it looks like.

And people say the K-Wing doesn't look like Star Wars. This thing looks like someone from the 40k universe got lost in the warp and popped out in a galaxy far far away...

Personally, I'm expecting to see a Scyk bundled in with Jabba's Star Jewel. Legend-wise the Star Jewel carried Z-95s, but I don't see anyone begging for more Zs and, if I recall correctly, the Scyk was of Hutt manufacture so it makes a good match thematically.

I think we will see a Star Jewel, but seeing as it comes in at 10 meters longer, and is a fair bit broader, then a corvette, it will probably be the biggest epic model we will see. So I wouldn't doubt it if they don't include a fighter with it to help keep the cost down. I think they will also release a smaller scum epic ship that will include a fighter re-release, to help keep the cost up.

I see no reason why they won't cut it down a little, it's not like everything else is perfectly to scale.

It's quite clear from the above schematic that the turbo lasers have there own hatches.

6 turbo's in the fore arc is quite a lot of firepower!!

It is likely that Scum and Villainy will have two epic ship expansions along with a Scum and Villainy Aces pack. That being said well I think the two most popular corvette sized ships the Wild Karde and the Star Jewel will be the huge ships.

Still with all those special set expansions that leave room for at least 4 S&V small ships to have new pilots and alternate paint jobs. (2 in the Aces, 1 for each epic). They could double up on a ship much like the Imperial special expansions are out. However if they double up on the aces pack that takes away another small ship that could get an update so only 3 ships will get new pilots. However it is likely that they will double up a ship in an epic pack much like the Gozanti which will still only update 4 different ships but one could have an additional alternate pain scheme.

Id put money on the transport having out sold the corvette by a substantial margin and I would argue that would be due to the X-wing

The A-wing is in scale with the canon measurement determined by LFL. The fact that not all canon depictions of the A-wing are consistent with those measurements is not FFG's problem to solve.

No, it looks exactly like what it is. A larger, spacefaring version of Jabba's Sail Barge.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd rather have the Star Jewel first and have the AEG-77 Vigo replace the Wild Karrde.

One issue I have is that there needs to be a good outlet for well-known Scum and Villainy characters that were not pilots. For example, the Rebels got Leia and the Imperials got Emperor Palpatine. The most iconic S&V boss from the movies is Jabba the Hutt, and since he has his very own ship that is actually about the right size for epic ships, it makes sense to create that ship and put an awesome Jabba crew card in there.

Plus, coming back to the topic of including a Scyk, the Scyk fighter was already made in Hutt colors and the ship "Cartel Spacer" refers directly to the Hutt Cartel, so it makes perfect sense to pair a Scyk with the Star Jewel in an epic ship pack. If you made the AEG-77, I think a Starviper upgrade (mostly new pilots) would be great for that one.
