Imperial Raider. Which secondary weapons and where?

By Rasseman83, in X-Wing Squad Lists

As soon as I get my Raider I'm about to play my first epic match. It will be against Rebels with a CR-90. My question is which secondandary weapons do I choose and where do I put them for maximum effect. Some tips on cargo, crew etc. would be helpfull too.

I'm really partial to the ion cannon batteries. I'd put one fore and one aft. You could throw quad lasers aft as well if you have the points. You want to be using fore as much as possible since the main gun rocks, but if things get behind your raider, it can get into trouble...

IF you know for 100% they will have a corvette:

Turbo laser or ion on the front

Ion and Quads on the back

Engineering and Sensor Teams are 1005 required on epic ships regardless of what you're facing

Weapons engineer gets you a second TL and a second way to mod your dice

Tibanna gas supplies can help you when you need to fire all 3 hardpoints the same turn

Backup shield generator is nice to recover a shield but not blow all your energy

the last crew spot is open, maybe mara jade to discourage their escort from getting in to close.

Could also load up on 3 ion cannon battieries and fly fast to start the energy denial.

Thanx. What about titles?

I'm looking at flying this:

The idea is to cripple shield-less fighters early, restore shields fast, and hang in the fight as long as possible. I didn't put any crew on the aft half because it's the least-resilient but highest-priority section; I'd like the two sections to be as close in point value as possible so that I don't amplify the natural inclination to target the aft first.
I went with the Instigator as it's the only card with an effect I'm guaranteed to get work out of whenever I want. If I were to build for support, with lots of target locking, I'd take the Impetuous:

I'm thinking if you're running ion batteries two on the back is the way to go. if you get a chance to ion a large ship you really to make sure you have the option to stick two ion tokens on it.
