I have seen some builds that have Roark in epic, to give their corvette PS 12, but I thought that all huge ships activate after all the small and large ships. So wouldn't it just give the corvette PS 12, but still activate after everyone else? Or does boosting its PS allow it to shoot first? Thanks in advance

Roark's ability triggers at the start of combat.

While the huge ships activate after small and large ships, during combat they just slide in the queue based on their PS. There is no limitation as there is for the activation phase.

So Roark boosting a CR-90 to 12 can be quite punishing, as you attack with your primary and each of the hardpoints.

Also, consider other epic ships on the board you would want to fire before.
