Congrats to both of the expectant dads! We had our first in January, and she is a delight.

I had wanted to name her Maia (Scots Gaelic little princess ) Tindöme (Quenya pre-dawn light ), but my wife didn't like the phonetics of the former or the origin (i.e., using an invented Elvish language) of the latter, so that got shot down.

However...

I'm ethnically Scottish, so when we were planning our wedding three years ago, she absolutely did not want me to wear a kilt during the ceremony. I agreed, but on the condition that if we had any "surprise" children (which is gonna be hard, since we're shooting for 5 total, including adoptions), I could name him Bruce Wayne.

She almost changed her mind about the kilt.
