I'd rather just see some new bases/pilot cards/crew cards slipped into an Episode 7 Xwing aces style pack. that would make allot more sense than FFG spending time to create/testplay/Quality control a whole new ship. Same with slave 1 if Boba and his ship make an appearance in the movie, have those cards/bases thrown into a TIe fighter pack.
How will Ep VII Falcon differ to OT in our game?
While "throwing the cards in" could work, it depends on how the Episode VII product is being presented. Is it just expansions? Is it a new jumping in point for younger fans of the new films?
It seems, many fans (of x-wing and the movies) overlook the idea of new players entering the hobby and fandom. A new starter, even if much is reprinted material (maneuver templates, dice, damage deck, etc) could be well received.
Given the amountof people that have purchased duplicates of ships and starters, it is not a far detched idea. Even a good one for players like me who only buy one of any given item.
New "dish".
New pegs for the base. (shorter version of huge ship base)
New paint. Probably only slight difference.
New pilots from F.A.
More engine upgrade cards.
and... perhaps another small ship included in the box?
One thing I've always found curious on this forum is how people keep saying 'sensor slot'. The upgrade type is called system, not sensor.
You should make a thread about it.
Replace the ordnance with a sensor slot and people will love it.
I like that idea, at least cliché-thematically what with the replacement sensor dish and all.
So what cool new system upgrade would come with it?
Edit: quasi-ninjaed by Vixen Icaza...
Yea, cause the falcon needs more help than it already has...
If Rey (Organa-Solo?) inherited the Falcon from her dad, then it's probably at least been modified with a ladies' restroom.
It will have lens flares
And JJ at the helm
JJ Abrams PS12 "Choose one enemy in your firing arc to suffer the 'blinded pilot' critical effect then discard this card"
It can now receive Holonet broadcasts in HD.
Sensor slot. a Orange ball crew: Everytime you are attacked, reduce the damage by 1. Can fire NOT ONLY in a 360 arc. But also along the vertical axis! If you put your Falcon under the table, it can fire anywhere in a R3 SPHERE.
First off, no. No remakes.
Second, it probably should have had a system upgrade in the first place since it's the only ship with a visible dish and the icon for system upgrade is a dish.
I cannot imagine the horror of a Boosting FCS Falcon. Or Advanced Sensors, or Sensor Jammer.

For someone in Australia who has not got the Falcon and can't find a supplier selling it, I would love for it to be re-released.
It would have the square dish. If chewie and Han are pilots it will fly slower, only during the day and get a 10% discount on most resturants err I mean upgrades.

If you want a falcon these guys ship across the ditch
