KoTOR Setting

By Inquisitor Valstaff, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Kanan(sp?) and Ezra from Rebels also both use white crystals. Add in Ahsoka and none of them actually completed the trials to become knights. Makes me wonder if the specific colorations will be retconned into a Jedi path thing.

Kanan and Ezra both definitely have blue blades, while Ahsoka started with a green blade -- her eventual second blade was a noticeably different green-yellow color.

I stand corrected, they are blue, barely. Guess the old eyes have gotten used to the TOR colorations which are a bit more blatant. Remind me to adjust my TV. Either way, looks like colors for everyone is back on the menu. Disregard that above post.

The stated reason for Ahsoka having white crystals is that she has no affiliation to either Jedi or Sith, and is somewhat 'neutral'.

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

I will actually play during the Cold War of SW:TOR fame with a couple of friends that I played some SW:TOR with. The only thing I am doing is re-skinning stuff. Stormtroopers become Sith Troopers, TIEs become Sith Fighters and so on. I see little need to touch the actual rules.

I am doing this, bought the npc decks from local stores and right now using the security droid stat block as Tythonian war droids for the Temple of Knowledge.

I am running one as well, but it takes place before the Treaty of Courscant as sith. Me and my cousin worked on several spiecies stats that I would be willing to share. I also use alot of reskin. I also do plan to do the Battle of Courscant, thats what they are building up to right now. If any of you have advice I am open to it.

This is a little off topic from lightsaber combat, but has anyone created stats for a Rakghoul?

I have found some I think and have a crit table for the plague, I think its in the https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/85616-compiled-resources-list/

Rakghoul Soak 4 Wound 6 Minion

Brawn Agility Intellect Cunning Willpower Presence

4 3 1 1 1 1

Tooth & Claw- Brawl Dam 6 Crit 4 Engaged knockdown,linked, pierce 1, vicious 2

I think that's fair

I'm not really down for another $60 core book. We already have the tools to run a KotoR game.

Fixed that for you.

desslok what was fixed??????

I'm more interested in the time frame of TOR than KotOR, but most of that's minor differences.

He cut the book price in half.

Similarly, although it's not likely to happen, sourcebooks for different eras would be interesting. If I ever run a F&D centered game, it would be in The Old Republic or during the Clone Wars. I just don't fully feel the concept during the Rebellion Era.

As has been mentioned, though, it's extremely easy to reuse stats on adversaries. Not much else needs to be done, except maybe starting at "knight" level play.
