Cool Dice for Arkham Horror

By FablestoneDice, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Hi everyone,

My name's Gary and I've designed some cool dice, which are on Kickstarter at the moment. I've been told by a few people that they're planning to use the dice with Arkham Horror, so I thought I'd share them on here.

In particular, the Bone Ivory, Blood Red, Glow in the Dark have been mentioned as a good fit for Arkham Horror.

Hopefully the community here might find some use with them, and maybe add something to their game! :)

You can find the project here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1422641660/fablestone-dice-bone-origins

Let me know what you think!

Keep rolling,

Gary

The dice have to number one to six, and rolls aren't cumulative.

A "3" and a "5" rolled together means something different than a "4" and a "4." Because of this, legibility is highly important; it's not just a matter of counting bones and pips.

It is very hard to read the values on these sides.

What makes these dice suitable for Arkham Horror?

Do any of the faces relate to the different levels of success in the game: normal, blessed and cursed?

If these are just D6 with different markings for 1-6, I don't see the point.

There are other options that have been on Kickstarter that have been particularly designed to work with the game:

Agreed. Plus, seriously, they look confusing to read. Considering the amount of dice you roll in a game, I see quite some troubles coming.

Sorry pal, not particularly interesing. But it seems like your project's founded now! So, congrats! Best of luck for your activity!
