New Raider Preview
why not preview of Armada Raider, FFG? 
not that there won't be many interested in new epic goodness, but this **** thing's already out 
on an unrelated note, I love how the aggressive "Assailer" and "Instigator" Raider titles and 100% defensive 
also inb4 "a sailor?" jokes

I have yet to play epic since I don't have a Raider yet, but I'm not sold on the Assailer title. It looks good vs. a swarm's initial range 3 volley, but it won't do much vs. fewer heavy ships or ordinance builds (which will be a bigger thing in wave 8). Instigator looks nice though.
I don't believe Shield Technician was spoiled either. Nice card for only a point.

Yeah, Shield Technician looks like an easy choice, very cheap and beneficial.
Shield technician is a huge deal for me.

Edited by ficklegreendiceI would have much preferred Shield Technician occupy a Team slot instead of Crew. Shield Team, maybe? Crew slots are at a premium on Huge ships, and I was hoping the Raider would include a new team to use in the 4th Team slot granted by the Tantive IV title.
The Tantive's extra slot stops you losing a team when the section goes down.

Why not more spoilers for anything Armada, I have to say I am starting to feel pity for Armada players. They have bee getting nothing but silence from FFG.

It gave the titles and at least the Shield Technician. Personally I prefer my articles closer to release than weeks ahead and waiting with less of an indication of due date than a Blizzard product.
Sure, here on the board we know that the US release is imminent, but most people reading the site won't, much less those keeping track via Twitter updates for instance.
I like it. Selling the mission-based structures of Epic games is always nice.
Must admit, I was hoping for a title that gave extra crew slots. The Imperials overflow with neat characters.
