You have to remeber, when Phantom was made by Mr. Lucas he answered to no one and was pushing CGI hard (whether to expand ILM or out of interest).

The Mouse paid how many billion for SW? They chose JJ for obvious reasons and he HAS to answer to people. The Mouse will tell him when he has gone too far. Yes, I'm sure were certain directives he has to deliver on (PG rating maybe, merchandise options, etc) but there is someone upstairs to say "No, JJ. That idea is turd."

I think we will see a great film that will reinvigorate our passion for SW.

If this movie disappoints it will be worse than when episode one hit. Thankfully I think JJ and the rest have done a great job and I can't wait to see it.

Dunno if I can say there's more hype for this one than for Phantom Menace, there was ALOT of hype back then. I think the stakes are higher this time around though, because if 7 is a bummer there's a ton Of fans who will just give up, and probably increase the overall suicides.

I thought green lantern was promising from the second trailer but i still waited for reviews.
