Finally decided to repaint my Falcon yesterday (after working up a lo of courage). Original colour scheme, of course, because it is the falcon. Colour modulation and filtering on the panels to make it a true hunk of junk, followed by some streaking for rust and rain. I specifically wanted to keep it understated (not too many strong highlights), as it's easy to over-do it and it needs to look good on the table next to normal X-Wing miniatures. Overall I'm very happy with how it came out.

I've used this model in game so many times, and yes you know they're good quality, but the detail is truly amazing. Only when painting it did I realise how close to the original movie model it is.

Anyway, let me know what you think. X-Wings are next and then the Tantive IV.
