My opponent has 2 Victory SSDs and a Gladiator left... I had a M2 Frigate and a Nebulon B left... both badly damaged. Last activation of the turn.

My Mk2 is Facing one of his Victories, we've been bumping for 2 turns, kinda stuck. His other Victory has just moved in rage of my side arc, and his gladiator is far off, out of range. My Nebulon moved up along side the Victory that has been bumping my Mk2. I activate my Mk2, and 1st take a side shot against his Victory. I roll PERFECT and finish it off.

Next shot - front arc against the other victory. Again... I roll PERFECT and finish THAT one off! Suddenly it looks like I might win! Only problem is now I have to move - and there is a debris cloud in front of me. I have 2 hull remaining though so maybe I can survive. I try to power through it, but bump my Nebulon, so have to go back. It puts me square on the debris field. I take 1 dmg for bumping, and the 2nd for the debris field. My mk2 is dead. Also, the Nebulon only had 1 hull left, so it is now also dead.

I went from an almost awesome come-from-behind victory, to the most bizarre suicide of all time!

Head nearly full shields. I had just bumped so many times that the raw hull damage killed me.

You know you can take the debris's 2 damage on any hull zone right? If you choose a hull zone that has shields the shields take the damage.

Right to Lyraeus. Debris field is damage. Asteroids are damage cards.

Correct. As it states in Damage in the RRG, 4th bullet (will be the second one down on the top right of the book)

"When a ship suffers damage and a hull zone isn’t specified, the ship’s owner chooses which hull zone suffers all of that damage."

Try harder next time, you should have been able to run over that debris field at least a turn earlier :-p

Don't feel too bad Crabbok my lad, a couple nights ago, I was looking to cremate my opponent, last turn forgot I was speed three with my Space Potato( love the name btw), no nav token, couldn't turn enough.... flew the bugger off the board to neverland!! ( that 2nd Scotch went down too fast....tasted good tho...)
