i have xwing but how do i get armada on vassal?

Go to the vassalengine.com (might be org) and there will be a list go to the s section and find "star wars: armada" and click then there is a download button batta boom batta bang. Your good

I have vassal. Everytime I click the mod it goes to my list for xwing and imperial assault. HELP!

Do you have the most up-to-date version of Vassal? It could be that Armada isn't compatible with older versions while X-Wing / ImpAss are.
