The "Gifted Fervor of the God-Emperor," as they call the plant, is both the main ingredient for the potent drug and finding it, in the scorched wasteland, a right of passage into the cult. The drug allows the cultists to move, for a short while, with nearly supernatural grace, as their joints and ligaments bend at unnatural angles.
