When rolling for Anti-Pursuit Lasers, can that dice be modified with a Focus??? My thought is no, but someone said if it's considered an additional attack a person should be able to...

It's not an attack so no.

If it was an attack, the defender should allso roll defence dice... and the card would say "Attack:" or have some kind of wording indicating it should be counted as an attack..

It's similar to landing on an asteroid. It's not an attack, so there's no dice modification step. It's just the basic roll.

One of those not an attack but can do damage and not remove Stealth Device.
