Elaboration on new Tie Adv pilot

By iPanterra, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hi guys

The new pilot and pilot skill on the Tie Adv : Juno Eclipse

"When you reveal your maneuver, you may increase or decrease your speed by 1 to a minimum of (1).

How does this work, for starters I assume you cannot go beyond whats available in terms of movement stencil

meaning you cant reveal a 5 straight and do a 6 straight or reveal a 3 bank and do a 4 bank because the stencil doesn't exist.

So how does it work with movements that is not available on the tie advance dial?

eg there is no 1 straight on the tie adv dial so if I reveal a 2 straight can I use his ability and do a 1 straight?

Juno can do a one-straight if she reveals a two-straight.

All of her moves were covered in the preview article. Search for it.

Juno Eclipse can increase the speed of any maneuver up or down by one, and this can end up as any maneuver, not necessarily one on the dial.

X-Wing has 34 possible maneuvers (the 5 straights, 5 koiogran turns, 6 turns, 6 banks, 6 segnor loops and 6 hard segnors that so far only IG-88D and Lightning Reflexes can do). 6 turns and 4 banks don't exist and therefore cannot be executed.

Don't forget the 0 Stop maneuver.

Dont forget Juno is a girl ;)

And a totally awesome one at that

Don't forget the 0 Stop maneuver.

This is incorrect. She has a minimum of 1 movement, so 0 is a no go.

within the context of what Tezza was replying to it is correct

awesome guys I was playing her right

She also takes the colour of the manoeuvre with her. So if she reveals a green and takes the speed up or down, it stays green.

Same with white and red.
