I just would like to know, when you fail evade check after succesfull flee check, do you have to do yet another horror check? cause 'technically' it is separate combat (with the same monster though).

My point is, when you successfully flee, it will ends the combat, so failing evade check either on the same monster should (in my understanding) trigger another combat, which means another horror check.

Could somebody clarify? thanks

I'm not so sure I follow, sorry. If you successfully evade the monster, no further checks are needed. If you fail evading, you suffer the combat damage, you have to check Horror and then you choose whether to evade again, or to fight. If you evade again and fail, you get the combat damage, but no second Horror check is required (only one check / monster / combat)
