I want to fly "Spudnik"
Would only take about 10 minutes... I paint Hammer and Sickles on BattleMechs usually, so hell, I could probably even paint 'em on A-Wings if you really wanted.
I called it Space Whale after the first preview when someone mentioned it looked like a Whale, hence my loud "Space Whale!"
It hasn't changed for me yet.
So I had to dig and it looks like this is the origin of Space Whale.

I have fond memories of it gliding lazily through the sea of stars to devour swarms of tiny TIE fighters and barf death on Star Destroyers. Good times.Thanks. Got a better look at it. The back looks good but the front looks like a whale.I like the Assault Frigate, but then again I played Empire at War into the ground, so I'm used to the design.
What does it look like from the front? Does it have fins on both sides and does the section underneath in the back curve? I understand FFG didn't design it but it looks like something Watto slapped together.

It's symetrical, it just doesn't look like it from the 3/4ths angles it's usually show in.

Yeah, it looks like for once I'm not going to buy all the ships I want immediately on release. Will probably get one of each, then evaluate what I still need for later.

Space Whale and Orca sound like something fierce or majestic and definitely graceful, and there is nothing graceful about this fugly looking thing. Now the AFmk1, that is a deadly looking ship.
Let's see if this name gets censored...
