My Local game store is holding a 40 point small base ship tournament. I was looking for list ideas. Kwing and punisher might be available by then but can't be sure I'll have one. Currently I'm looking at two ships:

Whisper vi fcs acd and maybe ia but might just take the 39 points to shoot first.

Corran fcs focus for shield droid

At 40 points all ships will have weaknesses but these two can end a 1v1 in two rounds of combat if the dice go your way. What's your 40 point ship?

Yea I'm trying not to include lone wolf but so far there hasn't been a rule made against it. Lone wolf Vader would be my choice. It seems cheap to use lone wolf tho but if anyone else does that day i b was think of using it.

Yeah, Lone Wolf seems like a no-brainer... still, here are some ideas for Rebels:

1v1 you can just Kturn all the time, then smack them with 4 red while they try to beat you 7hp protected with 3 greens. I would take that.

I've ran a Guri with at, advanced sensors, dampers and predator. Low ps sucks but it's the only 3 red 3 green 5+ health ship that u can fully upgrade at 40 pointd

I've considered a delta before because if my ps less than 7 it might as well be 1 verse most pilots.

And in 1v1 scenario you got two possibilities:

You go vs arc dodger: i think proper use of this awesome white 4kturn will keep them in arc most of time. And then you gonna blast them MUCH faster then they gonna even scrach your paint.

You go vs another jouster. Looking at what people before posted, maybe only those Bwing setups are threat, rest just cant stand 4 reds every turn....+ most of that ships are 1/2 green with 5 hp most...compared to yours 3green and 7 hp.

This, all day long. I bet no one sees it coming because the Defender is widely regarded as a suboptimal choice for tournament lists. Makes me wish my FLGS would run a tournament like this because the Defender was MADE FOR IT - could relive my glory days, playing the TIE Fighter PC game. Memories...

Another 2 points rounds him off at 40, and you can get Glitterstim (or Dead Man's Switch, if necessary).

Both sound lovely (though stim's a tad redundant; the man is swimming in focus more often than not)

Deadmans or feedback are stupid situational but utterly hilarious if you pull them off

Having 'stim nets you longevity when you're getting focused down. Even though you've got quite a few focuses saved up, you do lose them faster than you generate them, after all
