I'm thinking that the Bombers are great for the game as a whole, and I love that SCUM gets their X-Wing.
The ship that I think is best overall is the YV-666.

I have always really liked the aesthetic of the K-wing. I intend to run a squadron in my FLGS's massive EPIC battle soon.

The BEST overall ship is nonexistent until you give context for "best" 
imo, bombers represent what is possibly the healthiest shift in gameplay from "**** you I got a Pwt" to these heavily positioning dependent (and straight up hilarious) bulky ships
i.to model quality, the YV-666 is a goddamn beauty 
and the K is just awesome

The Punisher and K-Wing will be great additions to the game but I foresee the toys that come with them getting more use than the ships themselves, at least for me.

Yup. I smile at the idea of two or three screaming bombers surrounded by half-a-dozen other heavy ships. K's with B's and Y's, and P's with B's and D's.
Punisher, definitely. Ordinance carrier that can take FCS.

Yup the Bombers are great for the game. I might get three of each. That is enough even in an all-day-EPIC game... I think. I have two of each ordered up for now. I have a lot of B & Y Wings and TIE Bombers-Defenders waiting to escort these new bombers.
I do not plan to run bombers alone, at least not in glorious EPIC games.

Right on Star Brother! The K-monster is my favorite small ship in the whole game, SCUM wise.
The Punishers have Deathrain, who is going to be the most annoying bomber in the game. Being able to shove guaranteed damage out of his nose is going to be massively annoying and will do more to break up the two-ship meta than anything else.

TIE Punisher. Im mostly an Imperial player, and was an already avid fan of the Bomber. While I'm not sure if I'll like the Punisher as much as the Bomber, it looks like it could fill a very satisfying itch with the likes of Deathrain and being able to carry multiple bombs.

the k-wing is my favorite looks wise. (Never thought I would say that a month ago) the punisher is my least favorite ship of this wave, but I'm with weasel. both of the elite punisher pilots look tough. I like redline better than deathrain as well, but both are good. I also like the s tracer thingy coming next wave, I think that will really put ordnance back on the map, especially for generic bombers.

Could someone with both a Tie Punisher and a Tie bomber take a nice side by side picture and upload it? I would really like to see how much bigger the Punisher is, and its a little hard to judge on Joe boss Red Seven's pic.

I think right now, the YV-666 looks most enticing. It seems to have a lot of potential synergy with Greedo and Tactician which are cheap upgrades for an already cheap ship. Even with Recon Spec and Calculation, it's reasonably priced and hits like a truck on paper.
Haven't tried Punisher at all, but Deathrain is probably going to terrorize a lot of us.
I flew the Kihraxz a few times on Vassal and wasn't overly impressed at first. Part of that is because most of us still treat it like an X-wing. I think once people figure out how to utilize Lightning Reflexes and Glitterstim well, it's going to be a staple.
