Trying to come up with a good partner for the Decimator. I'm stuck between Whisper or Fel. No I don't have autothrusters. I'll drop rebel captive for whisper.

Any advice or ideas are welcome short of don't play the decimator. I like the model and going to play it with any configuration. Just looking for the best combo.

A third option if you want to get really crazy is Echo. If you put VI on the decimator and decoy on echo, she gets to shoot at ps10 when needed. Echo still moves at ps6 though, so you have to be **** sure you know what you're doing.

Between your 2 lists, I'd go with whisper. I think post nerf whisper is still stronger than pre-buff soontir. One thing you might need to consider though is making the bid for initiative. Whisper shooting first is extremely important.

Have you thought about Deci + 2 interceptors?

Biggest flaw is that you have no PS higher than 6 in this list.

I tried almost that exact list but with 2 royal guard ptl. It went very well initially. But became a run for your life scenario for the decimator after the ties were gone. The lack of initiative really hurts at times and ptl at ps 6 doesn't help much when facing high ps ships. I still feel that this is a good list depending on what you face.
