I would treat Rocket as he is. An escaped experiment. Choose the species stats that work for you whether it be chadra-fan, drall or whatever and paste them over. call him and uplifted animal or whatever works for you.

Groot is probably a complete homebrew as far as the system goes; he is probably a protector/sage with a wide spread of force powers. His force rating isn't importent because he doesn't use the force to begin with, but he has "grow" counters that he dedicates to each encounter. They take time to rengenerate but essentially allows him to auto use "force powers" as long as they fit in with a guideline. Him slamming a group of guards? Basically move object. That cacoon thing? Basically force protect. Enhance is quite a common power (allowing him to turn himself into a ladder, or being tough.). Basically he's a walking mircicle factory, which is quite in keeping with his movies repersentation of him. But he can only use so many "automatic pips" per time period. Which probably explains why he was able to protect everyone in the party but himself (but they spent a destiny point so he could be reborn as a mini-groot!)

Rocket likewise is unique as far as races go, but as a character he's definately a reskinned Chiza-Fan with some sort of Gadgetter/Outlaw Tech/Demolisitionist mix up, pick 1 or 2. He could have some cybernetics.

The rest is fairly self explaintory.

I'd do Rocket as an artisan/heavy. He doesnt need tools and builds whatever from scratch. Heavy for the big guns.

Starlord would definitely have gunslinger.

Firstly, Chadra-Fans are represented in the books; they are in Stay on Target.

I think "be unique in the universe like Rocket" is one of his absolute main features, though.

That is the main point of the character, if you ask me.

Using the Chadra-fan as a baseline to stat out Rocket doesn't stop Rocket from being unique. It just makes them a good fit as the baseline based on what species we do have stats for from FFG for this system.

A Squib is the perfect Rocket, IMHO. I am currently a Squib Gadeteer with stats from the Unofficial Menagerie. Sure, it's nice collecting tech and droids for the Alliance, but the real secret is Jury Rigged on the autofire aspect of my APC. 1 advantage to activate then a hit for each other advantage rolled. Did I mention the 4 AG and 2 ticks in Heavy Ranged? My intent is to eventually go Scientist and attach my newly invented "World Engine" (patent pending) to vary huge space objects and remotely fly swarms of planetoids into Imperial fleets, because, Science!

Starlord- human gunslinger/performer

Drax Dowutin (sil1) colossus/marauder

Groot wookiee soresu/protector (no saber just protect, and alter and using the traing stick no saber)

Gamorra -Miruluka Assassin/m.a.

Nebula - chiss cyberneticist/gadgeteer

Alternately can go squib or ewok with a cybernetic brain implant for rocket

He's a raccoon version of a Squib (possibly Selonian, although they're much taller than the Squib)
