But they are building a full 300 point list. Just because there's a mandatory upgrade, doesn't actually change the amount of points you spent.

Which is the whole problem here, because it's purely a issue of someone's PoV. It's like saying that 1000 pennies is more then 25 quarters. It's true you got more coins, but you have the same amount of money either way.

And besides, that boat has sailed a long, long time ago. At this point there is zero chance of the points changing.
