Rogue Trader as a Dark Heresy Sourcebook, What do you plan on using?

By Peacekeeper_b, in Dark Heresy

Well, I'm going to use it in my current campaign, but not really too much. I never expected the majority of the stuff to be so rare, and in my campaign, the majority of the Inquisition has been killed, and the rest are being hunted down by some thing . Their Inquisitor quickly learned that all of his assests are being closely watched, so there's no huge amount of resources (if any at all), the guys scrape by. So at least with this current campaign, maybe to outfit an enemy or two and make 'em pretty, but other than that, nothing too much at all.

I love the book, by the way, as a shameless plug.

How, exactly, did something go and kill off pretty much the entire inquisition, without even being identified?

Order 66

Because of plot armour sir. Because of plot armour.

And Order 66.

I'll probably offer some of the Rogue Trader careers as Advanced paths for my players.

I may use the Rogue Trader Righteous Fury for Dark Heresy. The difference is that in Rogue Trader, you don't just add a d10, you roll for damage a second time including adding all modifiers.

I'll be making use of the revised Full- and Semi-Auto rules (which let you move your AB in metres as you shoot, but you suffer -10 instead of getting +20 with Full-Auto, and lose the bonus for Semi-Auto, respectively), amongst other things.
