I just realized that Zuckuss is an extremely subtle way to counter Threepio. Makes things a lot less certain.

Zuckus ability is more valuable the less greens your opponent has + the less defense mods

4 reds against whispers 5 greens + junk is asking for a bad time. 4 reds on Cheri's one though...hell you'll even **** with c3po on han's 2 greens.

Roll with full modifiers + palob, have fun

Yeah, it doesn't negate 3P0 (he still can guess zero for an automatic minimum of 1 evade result), it just means the "cost" of Zuckuss' ability is reduced. It ends up being more like straight red die increase.

Its one damage cancel is negated by your extra red (assuming it lands) and unlike outmaneuver, c3pi won't be bothering another ship

No, it doesn't negate Threepio. It just makes him more unreliable on that attack. Which means the player may not use him on Zuckuss's attack. Like I said, it is extremely subtle.

Is there any obvious Illicit slot options for this guy? Obviously the Cloak is going to be potentially useful on anyone, but anything else? I don't see Glitterstim being great because of AGI 1. 8 hit points for a reasonable cost is probably enough to merit looking at Feedback Array, at least for the cheaper generics. Hot Shot Blaster? I'm not a huge fan of this card on a ship that already has a good base attack. Inertial Dampeners? Solid as always, but doesn't stand out as especially great on this ship, but the dial might suggest more strengths once its revealed.

Looking at other upgrades, is the Buzzsaw G1A a thing to consider? Assuming 24 base points, it would come in at 31 points for FCS and Gunner. Buzzsaw B's aren't a thing, but is there any Scum stuff that could push them over the edge?

I think the best illicit upgrade for him is the 0 point "Nothing" which gives him more points to spend on other upgrades

Agreed. Cloaking Device, while thematic, is begging to go on Guri if anything (though glitterstim is still probably the better choice) or maybe Xizor for a "yeah, just don't bother shooting at me" ship.

I am pretty sure it has a Cannon slot and not a System Slot. This way, you can equipt the tractor beam that comes with it.

I agree it will be like a B-Wing. Looks like the 3 PS pilot will come in at 24 points, which is a bout 1 pt more than the B, but it will have evade.

Its a system, it doesnt have a cannon slot.
