What if 300 points was still the max gained in a 400 point game?

I was kicking around this idea as a way to make objectives worth something more and to give weight to squads meaning 100 points as an added objective. if you can max out points to 400 by going after squads would you, or would you use them as a trap?

Well what say you kids could a 100 point bonus be worth the risk of being them or If you don't bring them 100 points goes to the other side?

Honestly I kind of liked the rules as written before the Wave 1 FAQ, which had all ships destroyed gave a win, but you still tallied points normally - so the 300 point tabling total wasn't a given. It could lead to some silly situations such as the losing player having way more points than the winner, from both objectives and squadrons still flying on the board. Imagine all the VSD1s and GSD1 lists of the world tabling the opponent and realizing that they still only got a 5-5 win because their opponent still had 100 pts of fighters in the air when their final ship dropped, 75 points from Objectives, and 126 points from 2 GSDs dropped.

Well considering that the 2nd place in nations gained what 160ish points from fireplaces in a game. Yea I think it's fine
