Question: Are Ewoks a Rebel faction or Scum faction?
I'm not sure they understood there was an empire or rebellion. All they know is those creeps in white armor showed up lowering the tone of the place, while those people who kill them are acting their interest (or close enough to it)
I don't think we'll see any Ewoks joining the fray.
Unless the Ewok Glider shows up in Wave 9 as a surprise entry, I don't think this will be an issue worth considering.

They were the only participants in the Galactic Civil War who managed to capture or detain several key members of the Rebel High Command, and then prepare to cook some of them alive so that they could eat them. That's seriously badass. As such, I'd make them their own entirely OP faction.

"Leutennant Kettish" is Wedge Antillies, wearing an ewok puppet, in a Tie Intercepter, pretending to be Scum Fation.
The real question is if Warlord Zinj is Scum or Imperial.
In the Star Wars miniatures game they were fringe faction (scum). I believe they're neutral faction in the SW LCG as well.
Though it seems silly putting them on the side of the Empire.
The Ewoks are indigenous guerilla forces led by Rebel Alliance advisors. So more like temporary allies of the Rebellion, but not drawing a paycheck or eating in the Mon Calamari DFAC.

They will follow any faction that has gold armor. If you have no armor then they want to eat you.

The Sarlacc has nothing on the Ewoks. Burned alive(hopefully to death) and then a thousand little teeth nibbling your flesh off. Jabba should have been dropping people into the Ewok village.
