No.

You can only have one of a unique character per list. So any character with a dot in front of it's name, can only show up once in a given list.

So no Vader pilot and Vader crew. No Lando pilot and Lando crew, no Luke pilot, and Luke crew, ect...

Rulebook. Page 18, top of 2nd column.

Unfortunately not. If a card has the same title as another card and has the dot, you can't use it in the same squadron regardless of the type of card it is.

Would actually be a pretty nifty upgrade in Epic, come to think on it.

It would be kind of hard for Vader to be flying his fighter and stationed in a Shuttle at the same time. Of course if someone is flying a ship (ie. the Pilot) they are going to be too busy to do any of the things they could do as a crewman.

How sick would having Dash as both pilot and crew on the same ship?

OK, everybody has said no so far, which is quite correct, but what logic were you hoping for that would have Vader in two places at once?

I had an opponent that flew Dash pilot with Dash crew. I didn't notice until he went to attack while sitting on an asteroid and said Dash was allowed to so. Needless to say the crewman masquerading as Dash was immediately kicked out the airlock.
