Also, is it ok to assume that we can transport any TIEs type? Deploying 4 interceptors or 4 bombers in your opponent's backyard can be a quite good move...
I'm not comfortable making that assumption, but I certainly hope that's the case.

You are taking a lot of assumptions here. We don't know if the Pup rules will be used for deployment. The Pup comes out when the Houndstooth is destroyed. You might not get to deploy the Tie Fighters as part of the Gozanti's turn. It could be that you have to deploy during the Tie Figther's turn. We don't know the rules, so you might not get to play it like you state.
Well, drop me in bantha chow and call me a nerf herder....
....and the Gozanti maneuvers after everyone else.
Hello, Pilot Skill 12 TIE fighters.....

Well no, we know that the TIE's deploy after the Gozanti maneuvers. But I agree there's a flaw in Magnus' logic there. At least I think so based on that post.
The TIES would deploy at the end of the maneuver step. But seeing how Epic ships activate after all other ships, it's possible that the deployed TIE's don't even get to activate this round. They may be able to fire like normal at their PS though.
The assumption is, that the TIE's get to activate at all on the turn they're launched. If they can, that is a pretty powerful thing because as was said that would make them effectively PS12 for one turn.

On the assumption that it at least follows some of the rules for the Nasthah Pup you get an action after deployment, while the deployment allows you to choose a maneuver.

Well, for the activation phase, at least.
Still, quite good.

But you're talking about a non-epic ship launching another non-epic ship, after it's destroyed. The Pup also has the same PS as the ship that launches it.
It may very well work that with the Gozanti, but that is very much an assumption at this part, and should be treated as such.
