Quick Oicunn & Dauntless question; If Oicunn begins his turn touching an enemy ship, moves first and bumps with say a 1 forward, Does he deal out the one damage and then trigger dauntless (even though he didn't physically move because he is already touching the enemy ship)?
Oicunn & Dauntless question
Yes.
Yes, from the faq
Touching and Stationary Maneuvers
If a model begins its activation touching another ship and executes a
[ 0] maneuver (or executes a maneuver that does not move the ship away),
the ships are considered touching. Ships that are touching remain touching until
either ship moves away (so that the bases are no longer physically adjacent).
And on a side note, the timing of dauntless is a little weird. It takes place immediately after the maneuver, but before the check stress step. Meaning you could execute a green maneuver, bump, trigger dauntless (receiving a stress), then clear that stress because you revealed a green maneuver. But it also means that if you started stressed and performed a green maneuver to bump, dauntless is unable to trigger because you are still stressed.

But it opens possibilities like Daredevil into another bump (and dmg ofc) or boosting past and shooting. I prefer that ![]()

Basically Dauntless is nothing more and nothing less something that allows you to perform an action even if you bump.
Pretty neat title, perfectly suited for Oicunn, but I kept it on Chiraneau as well... Who may know. ![]()
