r2-d2 miri's no good

At the end of the End phase, if you have no shields, you may recover 1 shield and roll 1 attack die. On a Hit result, randomly flip 1 of your facedown Damage cards faceup and resolve it.

bits in bold are why. "end phase" means it kicks in after miri's ability is triggered, and "no shields" means simply that you can't stack R2-d2 with her regen. It's anti-synergy.

The hit bit is just fun times when you flip munitions failure

What about the idea of spending your final shield to gain the extra attack die and R2-D2 returns that spent shield for free? I'll admit that it's not the most synergistic combination but it can still work when you're down a couple of shields.

I think you're just better off taking r2-r2 and c3po and swapping them

yeah yeah, r2-d2 goes through chewie. at least he won't be taking more crits, apart from r2

between your PS8 shots and "End Phase" many things may go wrong

Ig88 are easy to predict if you set up asteroids a certain way.

Also sensor jammer would only be good if your opponent doesn't have a focus token

If your opponent focuses then you may as well have something else other than sensors jammer.

Not to derail the thread, but do you mind elaborating? I struggle mightily against dual IG's and am always looking for pointers.

Keep your steroids about range 1 and a half apart instead of 1. The lines they run are skinny but end placements they are fat. I also use bug zapper Zs to make the steroids a little "bigger" by parking on their backside. Z's get an extra defense dice and still can zap. You might take damage but they WILL if they land in range 1 and, again, use the big bases to keep them in check.

I've started flying 8 ship swarms again, so what I'd do is make one long line across the whole of my starting area with my 8 ships and move it up cautiously and once I saw you were committed to one direction I'd have it converge in front of Chewy and super block him with a wad of 5 TIEs in front of it.

Then after Chewy was dead I'd thank god you were flying a K Wing instead of super Corran and I'd either run my swarm away for an MoV win on time or just kill the K Wing off.

I played vs something like this a few days ago. The key thing to beating is is just that the K-wing and YT-1300 have such radically different dials from each other that most people will have a hard time keeping them together. So my recommendation is delay the engagement until the K-wing inevitably falls behind and become isolated, then hit it with everything you have. Miranda goes down pretty fast actually as long as you are targeting her with at least 3 ships.

Same goes for chewie, as long as you throw a lot of dice against him he will die fast. I'd recommends killing Miranda first though as her ability to shoot twice a turn with the twin-laser turret is very potent, especially if she boosts it to 4 dice by taking off a shield.

I see, but can a swarm of low skill pilots really pursuit her with SLAM? She can turn like the devil and meanwhile Chewie can pick up targets with ease. Should you split the swarm to corner her?

She can? Since when? Sure she can double 2 turn, but that takes a LOT of space and if she bumps she can't slam. She also is mostly limited to banks, the K-wing seriously has the most restrictive dial since the HWL-290 or Y-wing.

Fel + 2 RGPs. Loaded to the nines with upgrades. I hate them.
