You lucky so-and-so. Mine only dispatched yesterday. Although I didn't want to pay for faster delivery (Gameslore has an extortionate shipping price)
Core rulebook release
Went to the door this morning and there it was - the book, all snug in its robust packaging and bubblewrap.
Cheers, Games Lore!
Edit - a few observations based on a quick skim read through the book:
1) Some lovely artwork (the krayt dragon double page spread is one of my favourites, as well as the enthroned lady at the start of The Galaxy section).
2) Force use rules and talents all seems very clearly written - this was one section that worried me in terms of added crunch.
3) The adventure in the back isn't really up my street and I'm not sure it would appeal to my players, so I'll probably create something from scratch.
4) The rules for creating Inquisitors look great and I can't wait to create my first AAA villain. Up until now I've always used adversaries in the core books or those handy adversary decks. Looking forward to giving this a spin!
Edited by Pac_Man3DIt came! I'm so excited! Did anybody else get goosebumps looking at the artwork on the inside cover?

It's a cracking image - although I'd say the artwork on the whole is a little hit and miss. That said, I reckon the stand-out images in F&D are some of the best of the core books - I love the double page spread of the slain Krayt dragon (reminds me of the D&D 5th ed artwork - just the right side of fantastical and more mature than Pathfinder-esque dungeonpunk).
Edited by Pac_Man3DIs it just me, or has press regarding the Force and Destiny release been a little muted. I saw a news item regarding the Imperial Raider (great looking sculpt, true, but not a core release) and hype regarding the 'Rebels' expansion for X-Wing. Still, the last press I saw regarding F&D was the last preview update, but it appears no announcement regarding the actual release of the Core Book was released in the News feed. I found that a bit strange given that the other Core Books and even the Beginner game got an announcement (in stores now) release. Basically, I am wondering if I am being a bit paranoid? I know that FFG just renewed the license so that means the game is essentially safe... still, always in motion the future is and all that.
It had an announcement when it officially dropped for GenCon .
It's just that the X-Wing and Imperial Assault news kinda drew all the attention.
Wow, don't know how I missed that. Must have jumped timelines or universes
But you are right, it did get sort of lost in the shuffle.
