Which skills will probably be "least used" from the new list?

By Emirikol, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Which will probably be least-used and most-used skills in your games? (Thanks to Franbo at STS forums for this list)

- Animal Handling
- Athletics
- Ballistic Skill
- Charm
- Coordination
- Discipline
- Education
- First Aid
- Folklore
- Guile
- Intimidate
- Intuition
- Leadership
- Observation
- Resilience
- Ride
- Skullduggery
- Spellcraft
- Stealth
- Weapon Skill

depending on the character and the career...i see them all being used....

I'm thinking in my games animal handling and ride will probably be used the least.

I might have missed it but is there an explanation of what Coordination handles (except it being a Dockhand career skill)?

42!

I'm guessing coordination is a resistance skill for seeing if you can stay upright after nasty spell effects? Complete guess though

This skill will be used for participating in coach driving races after a long revel at the tavern and lots of rotgut... so I see this skill being used a lot by my players... gui%C3%B1o.gif

I'm even thinking about adapting Carwars rules so that there could be a similar sport in the Warhammer universe... I would call it Blood Indy Racing...

I wouldn't know it would really depends on the scenario. If it's a survival in the woods scenario animal handling might be usefull...

And after all I think Jay owes us a session demo video gran_risa.gif

Probably Leadership cause my NPCs respond badly to orders.

Inside joke about rolling for hireling traits, where paranoid came up to many times. LOL

Do you mean least used or least tested against?

Animal Handling and Ride probably will probably not require many Tests but the ability to ride a horse or care for animals could well be used everyday. If you own a horse you will need both skills to ride and care for him but would rarely need to make a test against either skill.

Least used as a rule item.

as a GM i make sure all my players test every skill within 2-3 sessions. this way it feels like thier Characters are really being testing on all aspects.

Imagination will be the least used skill LOL jk, had to say it.

lol nice! yeah that and the laughing cuz this game is for serious RPer's ( lol totally joking, if you can have a good time then your not a roleplayer your an addicted and more then like totally obsorbed into the game way to far....but i digress BACK TO THE TOPIC!!!!!! *holds up sword as if directing an army*)

Looks to me that for the majority of PCs and NPCs Spellcraft would be the least used skill. That is of course depending upon what the skill does exactly. I see it being used mostly by wizards, priests, witches and witch hunters (know thy enemy, and all that rot).

I actually see Folklore being the least used.

Most of the time, my players don't even try to conjure up knowledge of the local area, but instead run around trying to persuade people in the area to give them the skinny.

(This, of course, stems from too many failed Knowledge rolls in the past, where I made up information and the PCs relied on that fake info and got either killed or badly defeated due to it)
