Do we think we could see a BB-8 droid as a crew card, or maybe as an X.Wing droid only?

If it could go on an x.w only, maybe it could add a barrel roll to action bar.

I'm not sure what kind of ability it would have as a crew tho..

What do you all think about this possibility...

Well thanks to leaked lego set pics we know that BB-8 can indeed fly in an x wing. So I guess if we got him he'd just be a regular astromech.

Based on leaked Lego sets, yes.

I'd much rather get an upgrade card titled "Well Rounded" or "On a Roll" and it have a picture of BB-8 on it.

I think this makes a lot of sense. If BB-8 style droids can fit into the new X-wing, I doubt they accommodate the older astromechs design, and vise versa with the T-65s. That could be a good thing though, opening up design space to make the T-65 and T-70 noticeably different.

I'm sure he'd be similar to R2 and have both a crew card, AND an astromech card. I mean why not? Any droid with personality deserves it. Chopper has both right?

We actually knew a bit earlier than that. He was in a statue thing at Celebration about a month or so before the lego set leak, IIRC.

Either way, he's going to be in an astro slot and that has me excited.
