Just call me "Ole Horror Bones"

By KtuluCaller, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I'm drooling over this Mists of Bilehall, and I haven't even gotten past the Bone Horrors.

Reason: that master can move a hero up to ***5*** spaces AND do damage, with only a single (attack) action! One of my favorite OL schemes is to separate the heroes: mission accomplished.

Even wilder, imagine using the base OL card that gives another attack! Can now move the hero up to 10 spaces in one turn, and do damage twice!

Wicked!

Now I just have to convince myself to buy it...or rather, my significant other that I absolutely need more Descent products. I'm thinking about pitching the purchase as "a matter of life or un-death."

Ba-doom-chh!

Don't forget the extend. Using just your normal actions you can attack hero that is 8 spaces away!!!!!!

Clearly that is matter of life or un-death. Your SO has no real option except to buy this for you. It should be arriving just in time for the holidays.

Wait... what? Don't you mean... 3 spaces away?

Edit: Nevermind, you mean by moving. Gotcha.

Yay, the bone horror !

Besides what you said, remember it can "place a hero 2 spaces" away... so it can simply throw a hero in a pit, harzard, etc.

Just get a monster immobilize a hero then make the bone horror throw him in a harzard...

It will be a pain in the @$$. Let's hope the shop item cards bring us (heroes) something usefull.

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't care for the Bone Horror. I think Fantasy Flights could have designed something better. I admit that it is an interesting concept...but that pelvis face...maybe it's the sculpt I have an issue with? Not sure what I don't like in particular but I'm definitely not loving it. The broodwalkers look very similar to some stuff from the Zombicide franchise. But the Necromancer finally gets an appropriate Fantasy Flights designed reanimate. Everything else about this expansion I enjoy and of course I will be purchasing it and the lieutenants.
