I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed the modification in the TAP's reveal picture right behind the V1 title. You can kind of make out "when attacking... (missile icon) secondary... (hit icon) result... primary "0"..." Pure speculation here, but it looks like a way to modify missiles without an action, at the cost of reducing your primary weapon to "0" on the next round. Other interesting thing is that two copies come with the Punishing One, which doesn't have a missile slot, only a torp slot. This kind of leads me to believe that the card reads" when attacking with a (missile) or (torp) secondary weapon..." which means that it could very well be our best "fix" for both kinds of disposable munitions. Looks kinda like an alpha strike card, change all (focus? blanks?) to hits when firing a missile, but lose your primary next round. Thoughts?
"Guidance Computer?" mod
I think it could be
When attacking with a (torpedo) or
(missile) secondary weapon you
may change all blank results to
(hit) results, but only when
your primary attack is lower than
"3" printed value.
That would help many bombers or "missile platforms", but leave out B-Wings, large ships, X-Wings, etc. It is better than Munitions Failsafe, but it doesn't make it obsolete because many ships couldn't equip this card.

Guidance
Chip
Modification
When attacking with a [t] or
[m] secondary weapon, you
may change one [e] result to a
result. You can't equip this upgrade if
your primary weapon value is
"3" or higher. "

Prevailing theory is guidance chip, and that it changes an eyeball to a boom for ordnance but cannot be equipped if your primary attack value is 3 or higher.
Just once, can I be the first to spot something cool that nobody else noticed?
My bad.
