I was playing around with a character concept and was looking for an outside opinion. This is a street rat/ex-slave with some force potential, who is drafted by a traitorous Inquisitor into doing some of his dirty work/errands. Said inquisitor trains the PC in just a couple force tricks to help expedite things, but gives absolutely none of the background. So starting career is Sentinal: Shadow. Mostly a thief character with a couple specific force tricks to aid in sneakiness.
Once their Force potential is unlocked and our hero breaks away from the original trainer more abilities begin emerging. I was wondering if people thought it would be ok to go from a Force career (shadow), and then take Force Sensitive Emergent as a second tree, to simulate this blooming force awareness. I think it fits the background ok, and the Force Emergent also has a lot of talents I think would really fit the concept of a sneaky force user.
Is this acceptable?
