Wow. Just wow.
Thanks Arms.
All the best,
Barry.
Had some spare time to sit back behind my desk and carry on with Modifying more of my Scum Fleet.
Firstly taking another Ywing and giving it some extra girth.
adding a top mounted cannon and wanting to make it look heavier and wider.
like it has some sort of extra munitions carrying ability and extra power packs.
its in the simple build phase at the moment, adding detail as I go.
Star Viper with re-arranged wings.
there are no extra parts added to the model, the wing sections have all been trimmed down.
and shaved to allow them to fit in a new configuration.
It looks a bit like something out of Stargate,
as with most of my models.
I basically have all of the parts in front of me, and then reconfigure it all until i like something.
just some final sanding and reshaping to do on this one.
Should Have these all finished and primerd in a few days.
then on with painting......once I have decided what colour to do them.
all the best,
Barry

Frog-Wing. I like it.
Mind blown! These are so ridiculously fantastic I don't even know what to say! Love it love it love it!
Would also love to see a tutorial!
I love all of your mods and paint jobs! That starviper is by far the most stunning change yet though. The fact you did it just by shaving and repositioning is amazing. Can't wait to see what you have planned for the good 'ol Firespray!
Excellent work, enjoy the themed squads.
Excellent Work... Its realy amazing what can you do with Plasticard and creative mind.
My favorites are still the Z-95's. I will say I really like the change to the starviper though, can't say I really like how those look (a little ridiculous to have so much surface area facing your opponent).
Would also like to see someone make a Longprobe Y (you know, to do all the work first so I can get ideas haha).
I don't have much of a scum fleet yet but the mods in this thread make me want to get back into modifying models for sure. They really have a look all their own and make me want to try some of the same stuff.
Keep up the good work, I like to see everything in this thread.
Thanks for all of the Comments guys, glad you like the models.

Thanks Siddhi.
I presume by Tutorial you would like to see a step by step build and see how it comes together.
perhaps this might help.
I did something similar with my Scum YT2400.
Here is the link to the Build.......

All the best,
Barry.
I have given the Models a Spray in primer to see what needs doing. surface wise they still need some fine sanding
to get them good enough for final paint.
Here is the Ywing.
I'm thinking of Painting it in a worn Republic Red paint scheme.
A test bed air frame abandoned at an old base after the Clone Wars.
then found and re-activated by an outer rim Pilot.
Mind blown! These are so ridiculously fantastic I don't even know what to say! Love it love it love it!
Would also love to see a tutorial!
Im going to add all of my threads here so you can look through some builds.

Within these Posts are some Tutorials on how I made some of the models.
I will also do a better step by step build for some new ships I have on my bench.
All the best,
Barry.
Another Modified Hwk 290
Put this one together quickly this afternoon while painting the other models.
I have been a fan of the FT-8 Star Guard from The Old Republic.
And the Hwk kind of has a similar shape,
so I took my other Hwk model and built up a Scrap yard junker to give it a FT look.
Should have the Paint work finished along with the others this weekend.
all the best,
Barry
