Hey all,

I have a 19 month old daughter and we are expecting a little boy in 2 weeks, so I've started putting together a box of toys for us to play with when the padawans are old enough (and yes, I confess, this is just me stocking up on things I want to play with) to join in, including a bunch of Lego and a fledgling X-Wing miniatures collection. Having no pals that enjoy gaming, I have walked through the rules a few times but it doesn't really give me a sense of how the game plays, and am looking for advice on building out a "reasonable" collection that is balanced across all 3 factions. I say "reasonable" because after reading this thread, I realize that all bets are off on how big you COULD make a collection…

So far I have the following - what should be added to shore up this collection and balance it out?

3 x X-Wing

2 x A-Wing

1 x B-Wing

1 x Millennium Falcon

1 x Y-Wing

2 x Z-95

1 x Slave 1

5 x TIE Fighter

2 x TIE Interceptor

(Basically, 2 x Core rules, a Rebel Aces, Imperial Aces, Most Wanted & a few singles)

So, more experienced dog-fighters - what would you add to round out this nascent collection?
