The V1 adv. is a great addition to the imperial army. there are now midrange options that open up a lot. The shuttle becomes easier to take with a midrange fighter like this. It is going to have awing stats and probably an awing dial and then should also have an awing cost. I HOPE. I don't think they could put out an awing stat ship with a pre refit cost. I'm guessing the inquisitor paid a premium for his ability and/or they can take either advanced title (free systems on an awing?).
Don't forget the X1 fix and the new tie pilots too. Oh. And that punisher thingy. Oh and the resurrection of the basic bomber since new ordnance fixes make them awesome (inquisitor with tracers and some scimitars? Sexy).
Do not waver brother. The empire will not fall!
For the glory of the empire!
Hm? Ah Yes! Amen brother! (don't report me for heretical thoughts!)
I may be looking at this wrong: we're not really a glass cannon faction - we do, after all, pack peashooters, not autocannons! I suppose agility and action economy is our thing, and the prototype fits perfectly into that niche.
It's just that ... well, it's a bit samey isn't it? Wave 7? whack some extra bomb pods on there, and Bob(a)'s your uncle. Wave 8? Bend the tie foils a bit and job's done. It doesn't really help that we're now a ship behind too I suppose. All my favourite ships are wave three and earlier - Firespray, Interceptor, Lambda, Bomber [for the lols] - with the exception of the Phantom in wave four.
FFG have a clear idea about where the rebels are heading - they always have, and always will. Scum are the new hotness, turning heads and soaking up all the new dev ideas. It just leaves us imperials in third I guess. Could be worse - Third out of three in X-wing is still a well supported and exciting place to be
